Salvation Army Rehab Center Remodel

admin Uncategorized

Each year since 2011, the Restaurant Facility Management Association’s “RFMA Gives” program selects a charitable shelter or kitchen that’s in need of repairs or remodeling. RFMA Gives pools the talents and resources of RFMA members and shares them with the chosen non-profit food service organization to make a significant difference in its ability to serve the community.

Through the 2017-2018 holiday season, RFMA Gives asked KDC Construction to help remodel The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Salvation Army Center’s mission is to provide holistic-work therapy, group and individual counseling, life-skill development, and spiritual direction as a pathway for residents to recover from substance dependency.

The KDC Tempe office donated materials and labor to repair the ceilings in the restrooms and kitchen, install bathroom partitions, install stainless steel panels and new FRP in the kitchen, upgrade to a new grid ceiling and add ceiling fans in the game and media rooms, and refurbish room dividers.
