KDC is proud to have partnered on the new Chick-fil-A Van Nuys & Hesby, a project centered on preserving one of Los Angeles’ last remaining Googie-style buildings and the legacy of original architect Helen Liu Fong.
From dismantling and rebuilding the Palos Verdes stone walls, to restoring the vintage neon sign, to recreating the iconic zig-zag banquette seating from original plans, this project was driven by meticulous craftsmanship.
This is a space that blends history with modern function, and a community landmark restored for generations to come.
